The Bates Student
Assistant News Editor / September 2012 - May 2013
Before transferring to the University of Pennsylvania as a junior, I served as the Assistant News Editor for The Bates Student (Bates College's only student-run newspaper). This experience confirmed my interest in story selection, reporting, fact-checking, and editing feature news articles.

Comedy Writer
Freelance / May 2015 - Present
Former Staff Writer for The Pennsylvania Punch Bowl / October 2013 - May 2015
In addition to advocacy, I am passionate about comedy writing. I believe in comedy's ability to break down barriers and unite all people. As a staff writer for The Pennsylvania Punch Bowl (Penn's humor magazine), I was able to explore this interest and comedy writing remains one of my favorite hobbies. Most recently, my comedy writing appeared in Points in Case (PIC), an online comedy publication. I continue to aspire to be the next Tina Fey, Kristen Wiig, Amy Poehler, or preferably a hybrid of all three (fingers crossed).
